This fabulous venue is now preened and polished, ready for corporate entertaining. Divine Catering is one of the preferred caterers and they showcased the The Neon Museum Las Vegas to meeting and wedding planners. The museum IS the neon relics fashioned as a boneyard and walking tours offer a fascinating history of Las Vegas through these neon signs. Tours can be added into your special event package, otherwise this areas is roped off to preserve the fragile state of the signs.
The outdoor venue is an 3500sq ft (325sq m) open space of space with a large atrium. The neon signs work beautifully as a truly unique backdrop. I can see the space used for;
- formal dinner on a kings table with showgirls, jazz band and Craps table,
- outdoor cinema night with popcorn girl, cigar guy, and roving Deco entertainers,
- ‘Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas’ arrival function with buffet lunch under the atrium and casual seating to mingle after the Walking Tour in the Boneyard.
PROS | unforgettably unique venue, excellent preferred caterers, easy load-in access, large space for catering kitchen.
CONS | outdoor space – minimal chance of rain but can be windy in spring & fall/autumn and very hot in summer, located in down-trodden part of downtown.
